  1. Download and print the application from this url:
    https://www.bundesjustizamt.de/EN/SharedDocs/Public/BZR/antrag_en.pdf?__blob=publicationFile&v=4
  2. Fill out the application form with your details but before signing it take it to either a notary public, a police station, the German embassy or consulate in your country who will verify your identity and information and certify your signature in person
  3. Enclose a check or make a wire transfer to the Federal Office of Justice for you application fee
  4. Mail the complete application to the following address:
    Bundesamt für Justiz
    Referat IV 2
    53094 Bonn

Yes.

There is no mention of sending your ID anywhere on the German Office of Justice website along with your application nor would there be any value attached a photocopy of an alleged ID that is supposed to be yours, even if notarized it bears no proof the application was sent by you. But if that brings you peace of mind there is no harm of doing it.

More info taken from the German diplomatic mission website:
The personal data as well as your signature have to be officially certified. A certified copy of your passport alone is not sufficient enough to apply for the certificate of good conduct. The certification of your data and your signature may be issued by any Garda station, a Notary Public or the German Embassy (fee: 20,-€, cash only, no appointment needed, please visit us during the opening hours).

Hello Team,
I had sent my PCC application to Germany in last month on 23rd June 2018. But i have not received anything from them until now.
1. How much time does it require to receive a PCC certificate from Germany to Pune, India?!
2. Is there a way to contact that department?!

I don't know but it's only been two weeks I doubt they can process it this fast. Also, they probably will just mail it to you not Fedex it so expect some delay.

Hello Guys,

I have received PCC from Germany (I belong to pune, India). It is just a one page document. Question 1: is it sufficient for the Canadian ITA?
Question 2: do i need to translate this document in English?!
Question 3: if yes, word file would be fine to show the translated content?!

Thanks in advance!

Hello
I also need to get my PCC from Germany. Can you please tell
1. if you only sent APPLICATION FORM(countersigned by notary/embassy) along with Payment proof OR ANYTHING ELSE ALSO?
2. HOW did you make payment? I am not able to find any suitable wire transfer method for transferring the amount of 13 Euros to the account mentioned by them?
3. How many weeks it took to get the PCC?

Thanks

1) Is this the normal delivery period from Germany to India
2)what is the postal service that would deliver in india

Hi.. I have also applied for the same. My documents were delivered on July 31, 2018 but I haven't received the certificate of conduct yet. The helpline number mentioned on their website is +49 228 99 410-5668.

When I tried calling on that number, I heard all calling (assuming IVR) options in German language. Can you plz tell me the keypad options to route the call directly to customer support team?

Or is there any other number you tried to connect with them?

Hope to hear from you..!!!
