Hi guys,

I have to obtain my police clearance from the FBI as I am in the US. Considering the fact that it might take up to 3 months to obtain, are there any alternatives, like sending some sort of proof to CIC, that can work in the worst case scenario? Any experiences? Would appreciate every kind of help on this. Thanks in advance :)

Hey.
I applied from the US months back and had my PCC after 9 weeks. I think they are pretty fast now. But where u don't have ur Pcc I would suggest you notify CIC before lapse of time.

Thank you so much for the info :) One question though: How do I inform CIC beforehand? Is there an email or faqs somewhere??

Hi,

Where did you get your fingerprints done ? In my country, the only way to do fingerprints is to use stamp pad ... I am afraid for the quality of the fingerprints ..

I had my fingerprints in Illinois with Biometrics Impression. A card was used and i had no complain for that.

You could do that through CAS / Case specific inquiry / Using form on website
