PCC from Dubai

I also applied PCC from Dubai Police online and got the electronic PCC within 3 hours. Finger prints aren't required if applicant provides Emirates ID number at the time of PCC onlibe application, if ever had Emirates ID othrrwise fingerprints are required. Copy of passport, UAE cancelled visa and photo are required to be attached.

I was told by the customer service that original PCC will also be sent at my address which will take at least one month. If this is true then I should be receiving original PCC by mid January.

They only provide E Copy no mail will be sent to you.

Would you please elaborate about the APP ? Which App? What are the requirements?

You can search on your smart phone for MOI UAE and it should be the first result.. once diwnloaded you will need your emirates ID number to register and you should also have the phone number associated with your ID active as they will send you a verification code to complete the registration.
Once registered .. it is very simple.. just look for the criminal records & clearance certificate and follow the instructions.

It doesn't matter if the UAE ID expired or not..mine is expired and it worked.. you do need to have the phone number associated with your UAE ID active because thats the only way to verify your identity as they will send you a text msg with the verification code that you need to use online to complete the registration process and then apply.
Not sure if there is any other ways!

I wonder if you can enlighten me whether we have to apply for PCC for our 14 years old son and 13 years old daughter as well?
Or it might not be needed by CIC?

You don't need to have UAE no. to apply PCC. Apply directly on Dubai Police website. I did the same. It does say that GCC issued CC required but my Canadian CC worked without any problem.

I have shared my experience with Ministry of Interiors (MOI) since it is in Abu Dhabi where I used to live.. you can try Dubai police website!
I think the police certificate is required for adults only 18 years and older..but you should find this info in IRCC website.

Also, just chatted with Dubai Police online and they confirmed that no Police Clearance Certificate for minor who is under the age of 18 years old
