Guys i am wondering if anyone living in bahrain actually applied for a pcc, what did you do and how long does it take to be issued, thanks
Can you please let me know what is the noc that you requested from your employer?do you mean an experience letter??and do you have any idea if i can apply for someone?thanks for the replysushsmart15 said:During my last few days of stay in Bahrain, I requested my employer to provide me NOC to obtain Bahrain PCC. I took that and applied to Bahrain CID office at Adliya. I told them that I need it for the purpose of Canada immigration. I received it after a week from applying. Another 3 days later, I moved out of Bahrain and returned back to my home country. I have submitted the same PCC in my application so far. If IRCC is satisfied with the same, then well and good. Else, they will send me a request letter to obtain a new one again.
Is that letter from the employer necessary because i would prefer not to ask them, also do you think that its possible to apply for my wife?sushsmart15 said:No Objection Certificate (NOC) was given to me in Arabic on request. I simply asked them to provide me a letter to obtain Bahrain PCC since I was finishing my work contract and leaving the country. So they provided me the same. I don't know Arabic so can't say what is written in that, all I know is that it is a request letter asking the CID to provide me PCC. At the time of application, I told them that I need it for the purpose of Immigration. Hence, the purpose "immigration" is mentioned in my PCC.
You can apply for someone when you have the Power of attorney signed by that applicant assigning you to take this responsibility.
Bahrain CID provides PCC only after you produce a request letter. It can be from your employer or from IRCC.Wolverine17 said:Is that letter from the employer necessary because i would prefer not to ask them, also do you think that its possible to apply for my wife?
Sounds like a good plan thanks a lot,do you think that i can do it on behalf of my wife?sushsmart15 said:Bahrain CID provides PCC only after you produce a request letter. It can be from your employer or from IRCC.
To submit e-APR, it is not mandatory to have Bahrain PCC upfront. You can mention a LOE that you need request letter from IRCC for you and your wife to obtain Bahrain PCC. Upload this LOE as the first page in PCC section.
You can try it on your own first, if CID entertains your request by simply showing them ITA Letter, then well and good. Otherwise, request IRCC.
They need fingerprints in order to process PCC. If your wife is not in Bahrain, then she will need to provide fingerprints taken at a local police station in order to process PCC.Wolverine17 said:Sounds like a good plan thanks a lot,do you think that i can do it on behalf of my wife?
I will thanks a lot bro for your helpsushsmart15 said:They need fingerprints in order to process PCC. If your wife is not in Bahrain, then she will need to provide fingerprints taken at a local police station in order to process PCC.
Could you please visit CID and get your case clarified as I cannot help you much on this part.
I applied from within and while I am outside after leaving Bahrain for good. ( No employer letter required or NOC required) - Your request letter would do with a reason for the PCC. Mention , if you are applying through someone else...to authorize that person with his CPR number.Wolverine17 said:I will thanks a lot bro for your help
You can email the Canadian Embassy in Bahrain and tell them that you're an Express Entry candidate and that IRCC is requesting you to get a Bahraini PCC. Mention in the email that you need a request letter for you and your dependents so that you can approach CID in Bahrain for the PCC. Canadian Embassy will provide you with the Arabic Request Letter for you and all of your dependents. That's what I did for my Saudi PCC. You may also need to get your Arabic Request Letter from the Canadian Embassy Letter stamped from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Please check for that.Wolverine17 said:Is that letter from the employer necessary because i would prefer not to ask them, also do you think that its possible to apply for my wife?

The process vary if you are inside Bahrain and outside Bahrain... though only a very slight difference. ( Both require two passport size pics, copy of the CPR , Copy of the passport where the first visa to Bahrain stamped, latest passport & you application to be filled )
If you are outside Bahrain, you can authorize someone in Bahrain to do with an authorisation letter mentioned above.
If the person have applied for PCC earlier or finger prints are already with them, you can skip the finger print part since they already have it. Else they will take it for the first time applicant. If you are outside , your local police station will help you taking a finger print scan

Thanks a lot,can also check my other travel questions thread pleaseJanP said:Hi! I had my parents apply on my behalf for my PCC from Bahrain and should receive it this week so can give you more details once I do. Essentially, I sent them my fingerprints that I took here in Toronto and got notarized and then my parents attached this to the good conduct certificate application form which they filled out for me. They accepted this and said it would take about a week to produce it. Hence should get it soon and be able to tell you how exactly it worked and if the certificate they issued was appropriate.
