PCC form stuck at SP office

Hi all

Need your opinion.
Appointment with PSK : 20th Oct
Verification request reached local police station : 23rd Oct
Verification completed : 25th Oct

Since then the file is stuck in local SP office. PSK call centre says contact your SP office.The SP office says, they have uploaded files only upto 10th Oct so far. Wait for 1 month.

Is it normal? Forum members often said, if permanent address is same, adhar, passport, etc docs are in order, people can get PCC in 1 day to 7 days time period. All the gorund work, verification is done, all they do at SP office is upload my file to PSK. But they are asking me to wait for 1 month !!!

Did anyone deal with such an issue, please share your experience

If you are in Uttar Pradesh, then get in touch with your LIU (Local Intelligence Unit). Most reports are uploaded by them.

Also if your Passport has been issued in the past 6 months, you may get the PCC on the very same day.

Update : I got my passport renewed in April, but at that time, they did not ask for police verification. However, when I went with this new passport for PCC in OCt, they said that you will get PCC only after a new recent police verification

Apparently, the aracne rule says that a new document (like pcc or passport) can be provided if your current passport has police verification. So, I got new passport promptly (coz old passport was police verified) but not the PCC (coz new passport was not verified)

Now coming to the horrible Madhya Pradesh police system. I got my local thana police verification done within 1 day, but then for the next 20 days, the compelted verified application remained stuck in the local SP office. All they had to do was, upload my completed file to the Passport office,

The local MP police SP office wasted 20 days in doing this and so I finally received my PCC after like a month's wait.
