You can apply for PCC from Dubai Police website, they will require the EmiratesID number along with copy of your passport. That will cover the PCC requirements for UAE. PCC is valid for 3 months from the time they issue. It takes 2-3 days to get this PCC. You will get PCC by email only.Guys, I have lived in Dubai and Abu dhabi for more than six months. Do you have a Emirates ID number ?Hello everyone,
if i have lived in Abu Dhabi the whole time, can i still use Dubai police website to apply for my PCC ?.
Abu Dhabi police website does not have online PCC application (the one they have is applicable only to students in Grade12). otherwise, i need to go through the entire process of fingerprinting, attestation from Ottawa, UAE embassy, send it to UAE etc. I live in edmonton which makes the process more hectic.
is my understanding correct? please help.
it is 300 DHS fees in Dubai police website, so i would like to confirm if this would work.
yes it should be fine, they need just you old/canceled EID number.. you should get the PCC in 2-3 days maxYes, I have the copy of the Emirates ID that i used to have while i was there. but i returned it when i cancelled my visa to come to Canada.
Anyways, a few hours ago I applied for the PCC on Dubai police website using my old Emirates ID number. Lets see what happens. fingers crossed.
Thanks for your response
