Hi, can we get PCC through someone in India on our behalf if we are in India? I mean, of course assuming we know someone who can do this for us. Or, should we only get this from Indian Consulate here?
If you are in India, you can get it from Passport Seva Kendra (PSK).crazycitizen said:Hi, can we get PCC through someone in India on our behalf if we are in India? I mean, of course assuming we know someone who can do this for us. Or, should we only get this from Indian Consulate here?
If you are in Canada I have heard that you can get it done through BLS, Toronto. You can look up the same online.crazycitizen said:sorry for not being clear.
I am currently in Canada but i heard it incurs a lot of money going through Consulate here so wondering if we can get this from India if we it is possible
I guess you can, but I am not sure of the procedure.crazycitizen said:Yes i know we can get it done in Canada through embassy but I wanted to know if we can get from India directly on my behalf if I know someone who can do this for me. This way, I can save lot of money![]()
In addition to what harman said, I'd also like to point out the following:harman1313 said:You can get the PCC from Indian District Police station.
Just send your relative or family member to get the PCC on behalf of you and it will be given to them with signed SSP signature right away.
I did the same when I applied for my PR and I'm a PR now.
I would suggest you get it from canada through embassy. Why risk your application. There have been cases of rejection due to incorrect PCC.crazycitizen said:Yes i know we can get it done in Canada through embassy but I wanted to know if we can get from India directly on my behalf if I know someone who can do this for me.
