Hi All,

I was wondering whether I should get a Police Certificate from the USA. I went there through an exchange student program for the summer of 2016. Although I didn't spend 6 months, but rather 3 and half, I have Social Security Number and registered address. Since I have this evidence, would CIC require me to submit a PCC despite my short staying?

The system will not generate an upload field for that PCC because you haven't spent 6 months there.
However, it seems like they as for US PCC (FBI) almost automatically for stays in the US of barely a few weeks or months.
Safer to just get it and upload it upfront. That's what I did on my Sept. 21 eAPR.

I does make sense, I will definitely do it.
What about the proof of addresses where I’ve stayed for the last few years? I mean, do I have to mention the address in my dormitory during my student years? I’ve changed many places during recent years and its a little confusing.

Proof of address?..
You're not required to show any proof of where you actually lived. Just mention them all in address history.
For campus dorm, if you don't have a clear address, you can enter your college address.
