Hi there,

I just have one question about if I need to obtain PCC from Mexico where I stayed for more than 6 months but NOT in a row.

I stayed in Mexico for vacation for longest 3 months and shortest 2 weeks for the last 10 years, with the total period is slightly more than 6 months.

But how do CIC define 'in a row'?

Despite the change in PCC rule, Some people advised me to obtain a Mexican PCC because there were little time gap between the time I was in Mexico - for example, I was in Mexico from June to Sept, and coming back to stay in Canada from Sept to Nov, and going to Mexico for another vacation in December.

Anyone has been asked to obtain their PCC in this similar experience?

Thank you!!

Krystine,

Pls refer the below link. it is very clear that you need to get PCC for your stay in Mexico.

I believe you need to obtain PCC as you stayed there more than 6 months ( though it is not in row) ,

It's not in a row but cumulative to 6 months. So if you did stay there more than 6 months then you would need a PCC.
