Hello all,
My son is 2.5 yrs old. Do i need a Police Clearance Certificate for him as well for migrating to Canada?

No that is not required as per guidelines:

Individuals who must submit this documentation:
The principal applicant
Their spouse or common-law partner
Their dependent children 18 years of age or older, including non-accompanying
