PCC and PVC . Please Help!!

Just wanted to know is there any difference between Police clearance certificate and Police verification certificate. I submitted the PVC with my file, not sure if its the same like PCC, please help

Just wanted to know if its ok to submit PVC that says nothing adverse has been noticed on police record. Please advise
