Hi everyone,

I am new and I would like to go through FSW application process. I have taken eligibility test and received response from cohen. I just wanna know how reliable this firm(agency) is? and if the payments requested are genuine? and if that is the only way to go through this process? that is, must one make this requested payments to be able to apply? where can i get application forms etc. many questions here but i need clarifications so that I can avoid online scams if there is any. thank you.

Yes - it's a genuine immigration law firm. It's definitely not a scam.

You can apply either with or without a lawyer. It's your choice.

I did my entire PR process through Campbell Cohen's firm. I lived in the US at the time so it was easy for me to deal with them. They are 100% genuine and completely reliable. Not sure if you know or not but www.canadavisa.com is also owned and managed by them. Very honest, upfront and will never deviate from the process. Will tell you the workaround only if it works. I'd had a few incidents where I was missing some specific documentation (transcripts, birth certificate and detailed exp. letters to name a few). On few occasions they clearly told me that I had no other option but to arrange them. In other cases, they helped me with the workaround such as providing template for affidavit which I used in lieu of detailed experience letter and it worked. The only thing I didn't like about them was that they charged me for FedEx shipping every time they shipped my docs to CIC. This is something they didn't tell me upfront nor was this fees included in my regular fees that I paid in four stages. Had they told me upfront, I probably wouldn't have minded it as much. But all in all it's very minor and doesn't cost you fortune. When I got my PR approved, I forgot about all this in a flash. :) I have actually recommended them to three of my other friends and they are all currently in the process of applying PR through Cohen's law firm. Go for it, you will not regret it.

Good luck!
