The right of permanent residency is different. You need to pay another $490. The total payment needed would be $1040.00. In our case we paid all of the fees before submitting the application. I believe your application would be processed faster if you it this way, because they do not need to contact you later and ask you to pay for the fees.

so just to make sure i understand $1040.00 would be:

$75 - Sponsor
$475- Applicant
$490- Right of permanent resident

but its says in the application i can pay for that later, my question would be again, has anyone just payed for the sponsor and the application only which would be $550 and later payed for ARC and later the right of permanent resident.

could someone help me or give me there opinion, thanks alot chitotolo great advice its just money is short and buy i need to start moving paperwork, get things rolling.

thanks

Hi Louie,
Like what chitotolo stated, it will be faster for everything to go through. If you pay separately it will cause delays. It's up to you but if you can I suggest you pay for the whole amount: $1040.

Thats what i think is better too, the last thing i want is delays, but $1040 does not include ARC that i could pay in a later time right?

but thanks i know what to do now, i just needed to be sure, just the ARC part i just need to be certain that it would be better to pay later if it would be okey.

thanks alot ;D

What is the ARC? It was my understanding that the whole amount all together should come to $1040 for one person. I paid mine last week, and it was $1040.

In your case you didnt need an ARC authorization to return to canada, its for people who have been deported and need a pardon to return to canada. that my friend cost $400 dollars canadian.

so congrats you paid, i am in that process saving money to pay it.

thanks anyways. ;D
