I was requested to pay the Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF) last November, we paid this in December as the London office had requested payment within 60 days. However, I had forgotten to send a copy of the receipt to the London office and now the 60 day time limit is almost up. I have contacted the Commission in London and explained the fees have been paid to Mississauga and I will send the copy to London as soon as possible. Will this affect my application in any way? I am hoping it will not cause any more hold ups as my residence application has taken around 8 months, so far and I am desperate to be with my partner and our baby, permanently!

Many thanks.

CPC-Mississauga would have notified London that the RPRF was paid. You have the option to send a copy to London yourself, but it's not required and they won't release the paperwork until they hear from CPC-M anyway.

1. I am sponsoring my spouse, so just want to make sure if I am making the right payment.
*Right of Permanent Residence fee :$490
*Family Class (sponsorship application) :$75
*Principal Applicant : $475

2. Also I want to make payments online but want to know if I can use two different credit cards??
3. And do i also have to pay $50.00 for pr card(other service) now? or jus the 3 payment mention above will be require w/o delaying my file.

Thanks all !!

I am not sure about being able to pay with 2 different cards (I assume if you do two transactions: break it up pay $550 on one card for the application and processing fee and 490$ on the other card for right of permenant residence fee, then it is completely possible). But you don't have to pay the 50$ for the PR until renewal (5 years). Fee for first card is built into the application fees you mentioned ($1040).

I paid with two credit cards. I had two separate receipts. I believe I did 490 on one and 550 on the other. Just include both receipts in the application.

Thank you nylalisa and heatherusa!
Appreciate ur help!

i have another ques abt d payment...... how many copies of (reciept) should I print out and include that in my file. also can i print the copy of the reciept through my email, where they have send me the confirmation of my payment with reciept. i think that should be alrite what do u guys think??

thnks all !! ~cheers~

do the credit cards have to be in your name? for example, i'd like to use my mom's credit card since all my credit cards have been closed and due to some hardships, i ran into problems aND WON'T BE ABLE TO GET ONE IN MY name due to poor credit

the credit card does not have to be in your name, but on the copy of the receipt you enter your information.

^^^

thx for the info

Hello,

I haven't paid the RPRF together with application fees and I want to pay it now, but don't know which office make the payment to. My application's is outland and visa office is in Warsaw where my application is now beeing processed. They didnt ask to pay the RPRF but I think it will speed up the processing time. Should the payment go to CIC Missisauga? I want to pay online. How will they relate the payment to my application?
thanks or answer

Hi maja22, you need to pay it to Mississauga processing office, and do it asap so it doesn't get ur file delayed. good luck !!
oh i guess once you make your payment print out the receipt and then send it to there office, make sure to write your client id number, your name and resident address on the receipt, you can also include a cover letter including your name and D.O.B, just to be on safe side, if incase it get misplaced or something. hope dat helps.

Thank you lama21. I think I should pay it now, before they asked for it, but CIC call center representative said that I should wait until they sent me the request to pay the fee, because even if I pay it now they won't be looking for it and it won't help to speed up the process in any way. I guess it just my mistake for not paying it together with application.
