Hello frenz and EE experts,

The CIC page suggests that the payment (be it processing or RPRF) must be done online via credit card. However, there are many countries in the world where there's no provisions for international credit card (specially in CAD), in that case what should an applicant would do? Is he allowed to make these payments via drafts too?

Anyone having something similar problem or if has undergone same circumstances could vent in for some healthy discussions related to it.

Hi Vishal ji,

I also have the same query... hoping to get answers from those who know it... Parhim

Don't know how could we do pay, creating confusions.

Do you know someone in Canada you can trust? Someone you can wire the funds to who will pay with a credit card?

Yeah that could be considered as the last resort solution but I want to know if any other thing would work?

I haven't tried it, but just an idea, you can try out virtual credit cards, something like: www.entropay.com/

Once you create account (after payment), they will provide you a credit card which you can use anywhere(online). I believe they should have various options to make the initial payment.

I checked the website but they only have option of using other real debit/credit card to fill the money for their virtual one time card. :D

Try to get travellers cheque in VISA card.
You need to open a forex travellers account , deposit your local currency for equivalent CAD.
Let them know that you will be travelling soon to Canada for visit or study.

I do have one with AXIS bank, which perfectly works online and POS.
Please follow the link below.

hope it helps.

@rams2me we don't have that option in Nepal.

The only option I can think is of asking friends and family abroad to pay for you. Else there are always consultancies asking for money to do the payment.

That depends on how much you trust people in foreign countries. There are ways to do it, but most of them involve trusting someone not to steal your money.

Vancity (here in Canada) offers Visa gift cards up to $1,000. If you know someone here who can buy it, that would likely work, if you wired them money.

@kateg btw congrats...just noticed your signature.
