Payment decline

Hi,

I am trying to pay forvisitor visa application for my mother from my credit card and it’s declining.
I tried 3 different cards and it’s same error code.
Any idea why?

I think if you chose the option that she would be paying and would be able to aford it then that could be the reason of rejection.

There is only one option saying
Will you be paying your fees online
Or
Are you exempt from payment

No, any valid card can make the payment. There is no requirement for paying from a card with Applicant's name on it. I have paid for my fiancé's transit visa in 2019 with my card and there were no problems.
It may be the system maintenance or card issuer's problem. Try after some time. Good luck.

I'm facing the same problem here. I've tried 3 different cards already and all of them were not working. I called my bank and they told me that there's no problem with my cards.

Same problem I also tried to pay 235 dollars visa payment. It gets failed.

Hello all,

I have been facing the similar issue as I tried to pay for my mom visitor stay extension in canada but it keeps on declining,
I tried 4-5 cards and even tried interac online banking as well but couldnt make payment.
Please keep posted if anybody manage to make payment online.
