Hi everyone, I am a little confused about the fees that I have to pay. If I am sponsoring my common-law partner, am I only to pay the Sponsorship Application fee of $75 plus the Principal Applicant Fee of $475? I am not sure what the Right of Permanent Residence Fee is?
Also unclear about the wording of the below. The below I've copied and pasted are instructions on how to pay online...What does it mean where it says, "you can only use this option if submitting a paper application"? Is this referring to the payment of the fees? Or the Sponsorship application? Because I thought the Sponsorship application HAD to be in paper form and mailed physically to Mississauga? Then it says "payment is only allowed when you submit your application through MyCIC." What does that mean? Is this again referring to the fees payment? Is there an actual form I have to fill out in order to pay? I tried navigating the site and it only makes me select what I want to pay and then moves on to the screen where I add my credit card info. Appreciate the help. Super nervous about this process. Thanks

You can only use this option if submitting a paper application.
If you are applying online, payment is only allowed when you submit your application through MyCIC.
To pay your fees online you will need:
PDF Reader software
a printer
a Visa®, MasterCard® or American Express® credit card (prepaid credit cards accepted)
a valid email address.
When you finish, you must:
print a receipt of your payment
include it with your paper application
