Hi,

One doubt came to my mind while choosing the options of payment. What is the difference between Family Class and Spouse and Common Law Partner in Canada class? If I am sponsoring my wife from Colombia, I say I choose the Family Class one right? I send all the documents to Mississauga too right?

God, I'm soon over this :)
thanks for your help

The difference is that your partner is not in Canada and/or you are choosing the Outland process. Yes, send everything to Mississauga.

thanks and one last question...

in the form IMM1344AE, at question Section C question 6, it says:

If you are sponsoring a member of the spouse or common-law partner in Canada class, do not complete b) and c); proceed to 7 immediately.

b) If the above address is not in the country of nationality of the person you are sponsoring, has that person been lawfully admitted for a period of at least one year in the country where he or she is living?

The application will be processed at the visa office responsible for the country of which the person you are sponsoring is a national. Proceed to 7.
Answer c) below.
c) Do you wish to have the application for permanent residence of the person you are sponsoring processed at the visa office responsible for this
country?
Yes No
The application will be processed at the visa office responsible for the country of which the person you are sponsoring is a national.

N/A because it doesn't apply in your situation. It WOULD apply for example if your wife was on a visa studying in France (or any other country). If the visa was good for at least a year, you would have the choice of processing in France OR in Colombia (her country of nationality). But since she is currently in her country of nationality and is not a resident of another country, her only processing option is Colombia.

Does that help?

Dear,
while sending all these forms to CPC mississga, will you send any documents as a prove or only the forms to CPC and then will wait for further instruction from them.
Infact, I am also applying for my 4 months son. Forms are ready but bit confuse in few things and trying to clear those things.
Regards.
