Hi Everyone,

I know this question has been asked many times before. I searched for it, and got mixed results.

Therefore, my question is little different. Has anyone ever got refused because of a salary of $11/hr for food service supervisor.

Usually the payrate for food-service-supervisor is $11 - $13 or may be more. I checked it, According to this site: http://www.livingin-canada.com/salaries-for-food-service-supervisors-canada.html

Food service supervisor salary starts at $10.50. So, I guess if my salary is more than that, I should be able to use that as experience for CEC.

In earlier posts, People said it might or might not cause issues. But, has anyone ever got refused?

I also have some line cook experience at Baton rouge for $13/hr . Is that ok?

Hi,
Thanks for the link. I have searched for NOC 6212. It shows the minimum as $10.50 and median of $11.75 . I am afraid, that I have little less than the median.

Not an issue. If you were being paid $11/hour and the median wage was $25/hour, then it would be a problem :)

I think its not a problem, unless you are grossly underpaid...so you are, for example, a structural engineer getting paid $10/hr for work that would normally be paid at least $35/hr. The point being - as long as you are within the normal range, you should be good. :)
