well i am still waiting it been 14 months since this pr application <i have no idea on whats going on the ecas have been the same since the interview
no letter from pos office as ye no decision have been made
i sent emails to visa office and was old that they cannot give me any information on the case

What did they tell you at your interview, did you passed it?

Usually they tell you, but at times they are processing your file after the interview and only then they will come up with a decision.

Though I wonder how can be possible to not have any update on your application status on ecas after so long?

There are two options for getting information. One is to order your GCMS (I might have the acronym wrong). The other is to have your wife contact your MP.

I wonder if you call the visa office and cry your crocodile tears on the phone if someone will take pity on you and process it quicker for you. Hmmmm... worth a shot! I've been so emotional these days that I think I can do it!

I agree! I would call until they got fed up with me
