No medicals are needed till March 2022 if you have done a medical within past 5 or 10 years. Just keep checking your application status page it might get updated.

Contained in it was a Notice of Approval in Principle!

It's been over a month since AIP. No medical request or update on ecas.
Is this normal

Please do not wait for them to send medical form to you. I know people that already got their PR card and till today never got the medical form. What you should do is book an appointment to get Medical done, you tell them it's for immigration that you don't have the form yet as immigration never sent it and at the clinic they would generate the medical form for you. Just take your brown paper and have the AIP Letter with you. On your AIP form you would see the link for the approved clinic and pick the nearest one to you. The clinic will give you a medical letter as prove, that is the one you send to immigration. The clinic would send your report to them. By the way you pay for the medical at the clinic.

I have sent all the requested documents 2 days after the AiP letter

As far as I know we don't need medical to be done as there is a policy in place by IRCC till March 2022.when I got my acknowledgement letter I was also worried about the medical forms not being sent when I called IRCC they said the time limit is for the other documents but not for the medical as you have not recieved it from IRCC. I had never done medical and it was updated in the page where we check our application status. So please check the website for application status.
