They usually send the digital copy by email between 3 to 5 day. Then they send the hardcopy by regular mail

What was your timeline?
As for the passport,email them copies of the expired copies you have with you and back it up with a letter.Let them know CBSA has your passport.

do I have to fill out the request for police certificate on IRCC website and mail it to the commissioner of police in Nigeria?
