Application Submitted January 20, 2021
Application Received February 11, 2021
acknowledging receipt of your application February 20, 2021.
started processing your application on March 29, 2021
Sent in the completed hours May 12, 2021
Procedural fairness Letter received October 12 (I had to change my lawyer)
Procedural response sent to IRCC October 20
Letter of Refusal of Application received December 20, 2021
Request for Reconsideration December 24th 2021 (new lawyer)
officer request additional documents December 27 2021
Additional documents sent December 28, 2021
Officer requested for Bank statements, T4, NOA, letters from all agencies January 5, 2022
All the requested documents sent January 17, 2022
Approval in Principle letter received. January 19, 2022 (
Medical medical instructions on May 10, 2022
Medical results have been received May 22, 2022
Letter to withdraw refugee claim June 7, 2022
Claim withdrawal received and sent June 24, 2022
Permanent letter approval received July 2, 2022
COPR received July 14, 2022

Hello guys, my brother has submitted my application since Feb 10 , 2021or Pathway and it has changed to Application received since April 19,2021 and nothing yet since then. He has sent numerous email and phone call and it keeps saying " background check in progress" is anyone here having the same issues..please help. It's more than a year now and it's heartbreaking. Please help. Any info would be appreciated.

The program was a temporary public policy and the last date i believe, for applying, was August 30 2021.

It’s all depends on how busy they are. Learn to do your thing yourself, don’t rely on brother to help you send a webform, I pray you get a response soon.

If you are already applying for PR as a protected person there would be no benefit to applying for PR via another program.

I think the benefit to him/her is that they can travel back to their home country with the latter program unlike protected PR assuming she didn't have genuine fear.

They are already a protected person so there is no changing that.
