Past 6 months...and still no PP req..??!?!

Hi,

My wife & I have applied via the express entry in July 17' and we have been waiting for PPR to be sent to us for the last 7 months..The RPRF has been been paid in Aug 17'... We have been asked for more documents in August 17' which was duly submitted...However, until now there is still no response.
Any reason why this would be delayed by so long...?
I am sure there is a logical explanation

Hi Leroy,

Not sure if you can open a case specific inquiry (CSE) to follow up? I believe you already have passed the medical? How about your background checks ? Is it still under processing? Hang in there...

Thanks for your reply..I have passed the Medicals...bckground checks still shows as "under review"...its been 7 months with no response.....so I am starting to get very restless now...
Could it be coz i was asked to submit a documents in Aug...??( as per my first message?)
Also, what is the maximum time that we will have to wait...?

Hi , the follow up documents is for? Normally they would ask for documents because they will require it to further process your application or the documents you have submitted maybe lacking...
I am not sure of your status in background check "under review" is the exact status as shown on your CIC online account?

In my case , my medicals passed and background check status is " We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information. " but we still got the PPR.

Actually my wife lived in Qatar for 18 months...and we had to get the PCC from Qatar.Initially, we could not get it ( due to the national issue between UAE & Qatar ).hence we submitted the file as it is without the PCC as per the agents advise...when CIC had asked for it we applied and got it.. and then submitted the PCC..

Also, You are right with the exact words of the current status on background verification..it is the same as you have mentioned..
Medicals show " you have passed the medicals exam"..

When did you receive your passport req..and when did u apply with CIC..??

I believe yours could just be stuck on somewhere (could be background checks are still ongoing or anything) , but I can;t comment further.
If you are clear ( no issues on background checks or no criminal history ) , I believe your application should be fine. I am just sorry for the delay though...Understand the feelings of getting anxious , just continue to hang-on and hopefully , you will have the good news....
