Any idea on how long the visa and immigration section has to keep our passports ? when will they normally return them to us. Any idea ?

If you are refering to the waiting time for your passport to be returned after visa stamping; it roughly will take 3 to 4 weeks...

For my case, they returned my passport after 1mth (4weeks)

Depends on the office, most 2-4 weeks, New Delhi months.

Oh! I forgot to ask , the time you gave is it the time you estimated when you got back your passports after you sent them ? or is it the time they take to stamp the visas ?
