Even I got a mail stating passport dispatched. I had submitted my passport on 7th September.

submitted my passport on sep 8th at hyderabad vfs office

NDVO is one of the fastest visa offices with 10-12 days turnaround. Sometimes even faster with 5-6 days.

While others like ADVO, Ottawa takes 20-30 days for the same.

I submitted my passport on 08th as well from Mumbai office. No updates yet!

I've sent my Passport through VFS Hyderabad yesterday.
Got the same email from VFS today...
"Dear XXXXX, Mail to the Applicant passport is Outscan from Embassy and you will receive the passport through courier if opt for courier if applicant want to collect through courier or Counter if applicant want to collect from counter......"

I assumed that it has reached NDVO.

But I received an SMS saying..
"Visa application tracking ID No. XXXX has been forwarded to the Canada Visa Office, Hyderabad OR Canada Visa Office, Bangalore; as applicable on 21/09/2017"

The tracker in the website says
"Visa application, tracking ID No.XXXX Your processed passport has been forwarded to the Canada Visa Office, NEW DELHI on 21/09/2017.To know more, please call VAC helpline number or visit VAC website."

Could someone make me understand this please?

Simply means ur passport has been sent to the Visa Office. The status will change to in process at the NDVO in a day or so.
