Hey gotta quick question;

Once you go to the border with CoPR and your PP, they activate your PR status and you wait 60+ days to get your PR card in your mail correct?
Do you also get some sort of confirmation so you can get a new SIN from service canada right away and change your job/employer or better to wait for PR card?

Thanks

Application began June 10 2016

Thanks for all your support guys. Will drive 10 hours to Abbotsford BC for landing later this week (Sumas I think). All waiting for this holiday finally will be able to take this getaway to the south. Been waiting for this day for long; well, it feels nothing different than before. Now am waiting for the sacred moment to get my Canadian passport in a couple years~ =)

Wish you all good luck. Thanks.

Congratulations!!!! I will try to go Monchi. How was that?? Could share landing story please?
Hi

It is not bad. I actually went with another guy from forum here. He needed to land as well. It is a very small port. Americans were checking car for 20mins. Gave us paper and then we went to Canadian boarder. about 30 mins for both. Everything done. Canadian officers are awesome.

im not sure if you can still submit a prepaid one..but as i read it, if you did not include prepaid envelop they will just going to send it via regular mail and you will not be able to track it and incase of loss they cant do anything about it..but call them to be sure..:)
I think u are wrong

The pre-paid Xpresspost envelope must be from Canada Post. Please note that we will not return documents to a Canadian address via any other courier.

It is not regular mail, it is courier mail. They will not send by regular mail

Hello,

Yes u get Permanent resident card in mail. When you get CoPR from CIC, u actually have two copies (one with photo). At the border they keep one with photo. They sign the other one for you, with date of landing, port of entry. They stamp the passport as well. When u go to service canada, grab this copy and your passport and you get new SIN

Thats not true. Your intent should be to stay in the province that nominated you. You could be nominated by alberta but after you get your copr you could go for a drive to seatte and land at vancouver border. All they are looking for is your intent for settling not touring a province
