Dear Applicant,

Your documents are now finalized and ready to be returned to you; however, to ensure your documents are safely returned to you, we would like to verify your mailing address. Please reply to this e-mail with your full mailing address, including apartment number (if applicable), so that we may send your documents.
Please help to know if it is a good sign or bad sign. Thank you and God bless.

What is PP? What do you think they say finalized? Why they need to turn back the documents? Does it means something? Thanks in advance for your answer.

you don't need to fill in anything. I just did my landing last night and I felt like the whole process was just like going to the supermarket, grab a bottle of juice, and wait at the cashier to pay for it. YES it's that easy:cool:
They just ask u fre questions what u saw on declaration form on airports... u have to answer yes/ no .. not a big deal

Based on timelines, the time frame is 1 month and 2 weeks at the most from PP delivered/received by steve(schuiboeter) to PP received by applicant us. Start from PP received by ottawa to PP received by you. It's ALWAYS a month, not less except for 1 or 2 people here who got it 20 days. It really hurts ur plans, oh man!

Stupid question: How to check if your return package is activated? CIC message or have to track on Canada Post website with the tracking number? Thanks.

If you go to Canada Post Website and track it, you will see they cannot find any info (well deh.. cuz they have not activated it). However, this doesn't help at all because you can't set up any notice for that specific tracking number.. for some reason..

I installed the Canada Post App on my phone. You can put the tracking number in, and it will stay there even when it's not activated. Then, you will need to set up the notification inside the app to -push notification-, and you will get a notice right away when the tracking is activated. I didn't have to worry about going on the website and check it constantly.

Hope this is helpful :)

Great suggestion.
Thanks

Went landing by crossing Boundary Bay at Greater Vancouver this early morning. It's pretty small border and no lineup. The officer just asked me very simple questions in order to confirm the info on COPR was correct which only took about 1 min. Then it took another 10 mins waiting for the officer to process my file. All done!

Thank all the friends in the forum for the help and support to overcome the depression during the tough long-time journey! Good luck and all the best!!!
