Hello All,

I was away travelling. Just popping in to update our landing process.

My wife and I did our landing on October 26, 2016 at Vancouver International Airport (YVR).

The first immigration officer (immediately after getting off the flight), just checked our passports for immigrant visa and COPR. He didn't stamp nothing, just asked us to proceed to another immigration area which is meant for New Immigrants.

Over, at the next immigration area, we were greeted by some officers who gave us a book 'Welcome to Canada' with information on various aspects, like SIN registration, MSP application form etc. I asked them if we could apply for SIN Number at the airport, but they advised there is no such facility at YVR Airport. We have to do it from a Service Canada center.

After that we were led to the immigration counter, where after waiting for our turn, the officer asked us statutory questions to confirm all details on the COPR and then proceeded to stamp and sign the passports and COPR. Also, at this point I gave the officer 2 copies of BSF-186 and BSF-186A forms. She signed both and kept one for their records and returned the other.

This sums up our entire landing process.

Good luck to everyone!

Does CPC Ottawa maintain separate queue for visa stamping based on application class? I have to send my parent's passport for PGP to Ottawa.

What is the current / average wait period to get Passport back?

Hi Guys,
Quick questions, did you fill out the address on the return envelope that was sent to CPP Ottawa. ?
I am sending my passport today and the instructions in PPR are kind of confusing at one point they say- self address envelope and then at the end it says "COMPLETE ANNEX A FOUND AT THE END OF THIS DOCUMENT AND SUBMIT IT WITH YOUR DOCUMENTS. DO NOT FILL OUT THE ADDRESS SECTION ON YOUR CANADA POST RETURN ENVELOPE."

HELP!!

I don't think you should put anything on the envelope :o just the Annex A it says.......
