Passports to CPC Ottawa - September 2016

I guess they do deliver Xpresspost on a Saturday.

Mine is probably still in Ottawa, as of Fri evening. The tracker hasn't moved to In Transit.

Hopefully it will arrive Monday or Tuesday.

Passport arrived in Ottawa Sep 30th.

I am like a lot of others: not sure whether to land on the border or just make an appointment at an office. My TRV will expire Oct 25th and I am not sure whether that makes a difference at the border. It is likely that I will do my landing after that date.

I do have a US visa but do I need a valid TRV to do flagpoling? Who knows.

I'm in the states and I used FedEx with Saturday delivery option. No idea about Xpresspost.

I'm in the same situation you're in. It says 'processing in Mississauga' since Friday morning. I've contacted Canada Post. They don't deliver on weekends...fingers crossed for Monday

Interesting! I had thought that was it for the day, but I just checked the Xpresspost website 5 mins ago and my tracker shows that it was activated 1833 hrs today.

It's not yet in transit so I think I will only get it on Monday.

BTW does anyone know: my Temp Residence Visa expires on Oct 25th. Can I do landing even with an expired TRV or does it become irrelevant?

So my timeline is:
Passport received in Ottawa Sep 30th
Hopefully COPR received Oct 17...

Did it say in transit? Mine still says in process (Mississauga). Hasn't changed at all from last week. I'm losing my patience with Canada Post.

Mine the same.... "item processed" in Ottawa since Friday night, just changed to "item processed" in Toronto.
Not sure if they gonna deliver it today

I just contacted Canada Post. Apparently they sent my document to the wrong location so had to re-route the document leading to 'possible delay' . I am livid.

Why is CPP Ottawa so ignorant on solely accepting Canada Post delivery only? Big mistake

Mine says in transit as of 0813 hrs this morning. Nothing yet at the moment.

I did wait around for it but I have to work, so I think I will have to pick it up from local post office tomorrow. I hope they don't get it wrong.

my passport also reached on 6th october ottawa. i am expecting 20 october 2016 to be the day when the send me back my passport

Please keep us posted when your status on mycic changes. my passport was received at Ottawa same day as yours.
