I think they must have allowed this because I was sending these from US. Not sure if they would allow if they are being sent from within Canada. The letter I received with the PPR mentioned that if I am in the US, the passports must be sent to CPC Ottawa thru a courier that can send and receive items between Canada and US. So, for me FedEx was the most logical choice.

Just a friendly question,

Has anyone sent their passports to PO Box 9780 address?

Because I sent it yesterday, and I don't see any signature on my item according to Canada post.

I sent it to Laurier ave address. The Canada Post guy told me to write that address coz then they would get someone to sign for PP receiving.

I received the Final Request this morning (September 28th) and I've just sent the required documents to the address mentioned in the Letter (PO BOX 9780).

Hope to receive my CoPR pretty soon. (I'm from a visa-exempt country.)

I'm so excited ! ;D

Hey all,
i have a question to ask if anybody can help. it will be great

Date of last entry in Canada is mentioned wrong as i left Canada and was back during the processing of my PR application
but my original entry is correct/.

do i still need to amend it or its ok. because once i go to the border entry date will again be changed. i read on cic saying only if original entry date is wrong you need to change.. do i need to change it?

last entry date?

Just posting this here for anyone who wants to gain insight on co-relation between MyCIC application approval VS Printing of Counterfoil VS Issuance of COPR

September 16: COPR issued
September 20: MyCIC approved and closed
September 26: Passports returned by mail
