Either do flagpoling at the closest border to you or book an appointment to do it at Service Canada location near to you.

Hey Guys,

My passport got delivered on 8th September 2016 to Ottawa. I've been waiting since then. I'm from a country(India) which needs visa.

Anyone else in the same boat as me? Am I getting worked up for no reason?

Mine was delivered on sept 7th but still no update. I think we are Ok. We just have to wait. I don't how cic system works but they process some passports faster than the others irrespective of their received date.

My mom landed through U.S land border last Friday. Her ECAS status has now been updated with "Complete" status and the last line:

You entered Canada at the Coutts office on September 16, 2016 and became a Permanent Resident

Another chapter of my immigrant’s life has closed, just like previous chapters. I feel strange though. I somehow miss the feeling of checking up on the immigration application every day. I should have found something to apply for and play this wait game with IRCC again because I got addicted.

You can do a flagpoling at a border entry point near you or book an appointment.

PS I did flagpoling last week and agent told me to tell my friends to avoid flagpoling ... just book an appointment with CIC office

We ended up arriving late to Niagara as I went after work and she told be there may be times that there is no immigration officer late at night or they may be busy dealing with criminals.
