Passports to CPC Ottawa - September 2016

Had the tracking number printed on the receipt .. guess the girl at the counter did not tell me to to keep the number for the return envelope before I sealed it :-[

Oh well, opening my mailbox in the evening will be like opening presents ;D

The girl might have returned one paper where you mentioned CPC-Ottawa address.. you can find your tracking number there. but they dont tear the other envelop's paper because it should be done when they post it back. but you could save that number before you sealed the Self addressed one.
Still it is all good.. you will get it eventually .

Hey guys..

I got my AOR on March 16. I am awaiting my PPR and may receive it anytime this week.

Once we receive PPR, we should send or Passport for stamping within 30 days or 60 days?
Please let me know.. as I have scheduled travel plans for next month and will plan accordingly.

Almost all PPR letters state you have to send the passports within 30 days.

They also ask you to e-mail CPC Ottawa or corresponding VO if you cannot send your passport within the 30 days time period.

normally they give 30 days but you can ask for extension by simply emailing them back.

I would say wait for a bit otherwise raise a query to CPC Ottawa.

I had the same situation and due to my lack of experience with mailing prepaid envelopes, I did the same and forgot to take note of my return tracking number. I was opening my mail every day in the hope of my PP until yesterday when it actually came in and you're right it did feel like a present !

Hey guys.
I just received my PPR letter today.
Planning on sending the passports soon.
I m based in Bangalore.
I need to use VFS to send the passports to the Delhi high commission.
My primary VO is CPC OTTAWA.
So will the passports be sent to OTTAWA for stamping or will it be stamped in Delhi?


Any one in the same situation as me?

Any idea of the turnaround time?
