Passports to CPC Ottawa - September 2016

No, It just went from In Processing to Decision made the same day that I got Passport Request.

do you have access to mycic though? its different from ecas.

I do have mycic but I don't know if I can link my application from ECAS to mycic. I applied under Quebec skilled worker category so didn't use mycic, unlike CEC applicants.

If you are able to link you can see if the visa has been printed (mycic will show as 'approved')

Now that you've mentioned, I was able to successfully link my application to mycic. Following are the details:

Application/profile status: Closed
Final decision: This application has been approved


Please let me know what does the above 2 mean in terms of Visa printing and activation of return Tracking Number.

**Also the weird thing is that on the main page where we see list of our current and previously submitted applications, I see "Submitted" written under Details column. But inside the application, it says approved and closed.

With this status, you can be rest assured your visa and COPR have been produced you just have to wait for them to mail it back to you which unpleasantly take several days based on other August cases

Just received PPR.

I am from a visa exempt country so I don't need to send my passport but this:

"you will need to submit one photocopy of the photo page and any pages containing amendments of the passport for you and for each accompanying family member. Please do not send your original passport(s). Your passport(s) should be valid for at least 6 months."

What do they mean by amendments ?

Last half of August and early September are experiencing some delays with passport returns from Ottawa. Not sure why? But for sure it will not be sooner than 2-3 weeks

Got PPR today, will send passports today as well.
so, just to make sure, i have to send:
- 2 passports (mine and my spouse's)
- printed copy of the ppr e-mail
- 2 photos for each person (50x70, with the stamp of the photo studio and our names on the back)

Sending with express canada post, 2 envelopes (one to send passports there, 1 for them to return it back)

Should i also write UCI or application number somewhere?
Or add anything else?
