Passports to CPC Ottawa- Sep 2017

guys i sent my passport via fedex after receiving ppr..passport delivered on Sep 25th. No updates since..sent it to ottawa..Should i raise cse? i read here thta people have even received emails from cic about receipt of passport and i have not received this as well..kinda worried..would appreciate any ideas Thanks

Just wait, Mine was delivered on 26th. It is still within the timeline

CIC will not email you about receipt of passport and its only been 2.5 weeks. You can email them about the passport and they will confirm the receipt of it.

well thanks man for the feedback i was patiently waiting till i read some timelines on this thread..i had planned not to do anything about it till mid of next week but people here seem to have received stuff sooner hence the unease but thanks man i do appreciate this feedback..will wait a bit longer

Mine was delivered on 22nd September.... I live in USA. Looks like USA FSW-O is slower than FSW-I or CEC

I have the same timeline as you. Passport delivered Sep 25th. No response yet. I sent an email last week to CPC Ottawa.
Response within 24 hours was like: "We received your passport and it will be returned shortly via the envelope you provided. No exact timeline can be given as it is within the regulatory timeline".

Nothing changed since then.

You case is very similar to mine. So, I will give my inputs.
I sent my passport on Sep 18 from Chicago, delivered on Sep 19, received acceptance email from CPC - Ottawa (After my inquiry) on Sep 21. Received alert from CIC on Oct 2. Same as you not message, application updated to approved. received response from CPC - Ottawa on Oct 3 that passport has been dispatched (after inquiry, they do not send e-mail if you don't ask). FedEx took 3 days to activate tracker. received passports on Oct 7. So, don't worry, it should all work out.

A couple of questions for you:
- what state and city did you ask fedex to deliver passport to
- what shipping type you used (international priority, or international ground)

where are you in chicago? i am in schaumburg ..just wondering..

General idea:
4thOctober + 2 working days: 9th October: officer opens package
9th October + 2 weeks: 23rd October( +/- 1 or 2 days ): application approved.
They dispatch passports the next working day the application is approved. from there it depends on what option you chose for return label.

I just checked my online account and it got updated with Approved!!!!

Now I got question about US born child.... my online CIC account only lists counterfoil document for me and spouse... my daughter who is US born and has US passport is not included in list of counterfoil document. What does it mean for me and how will I get COPR for child?

Congrats! I don't know the answer to your question but would be grateful if you could share your timeline.

Passport sent: 21 sept
Passport received by agent: 22 sept
Application approved: 11th oct
Return tracker activated: 12 oct
Passport received: 13 oct.

Sorry, I am not sure, but I would like to ask if you received a message as well. I see the final decision says, "check messages below" but I don't see any new messages.
