Guys my passport was delivered on 29th Sep. I called the customer care today and they said its not there in the system yet that they received my passport . Do you guys think i should be worried ? any idea how many days it takes to update it in system after the passport is delivered ? Please help

Nope. My passport was delivered on 20th Sept. They received it on 22rd Sept. Try to call them on Thursday or Friday
I got the below reply via email:
"Your passport has been received at our office and will be returned to you shortly. We are currently experiencing a high volume of mail intake and we cannot confirm how long this process will take.
Your documents will be returned using the envelope that you provided. If you have followed the instructions on the website and kept note of the tracking number, you should be able to follow its delivery online.
We thank you for your patience.

*Due to a higher than normal volume of emails recently, we ask that you keep correspondence with our office to a minimum.*"

I got the same email today, this is wrong, it is completely unfair to not do it on first come first served basis, how do I know that there is no discrimination going on? How come some getting passport in a few days and some not even in months.
You need not be worried, it usually takes them 3 to 4 days to update it in their system
I think the pattern we have established in above posts is : passport delivered date + 2 working days ->Passport received by agent + upto 2 weeks.
If you are within that date, it would mean no worries.

1 montg back they received the passport. Good news is today i see the application says approved, though the tracking # does not show any shipment yet, keeping fingers crossed
