Seems like people whose passports were received on 6th and 7th have had status approved and even tracker activated.

I just talked to CIC trying to get a status for my passport. Now they have a note that it was received - which means that between Tuesday and today, there has been some movement on my file. However, I don't yet have an approval online on MyCIC nor any emails.

Same here, i just called to check. The officer said the status of passport is 'in queue', which means its awaiting visa sticker printing. Also said it should be done and back by next week, but if i dont hear any update by Wednesday that i should call back.

Hello All! Do you receive a confirmation from CPC Ottawa acknowledging that they received your passport?
My passport was delivered yesterday as per Canada Post, but I never received any confirmation from CPC.

Well, that's good. When I called, they didn't tell me anything about the passport being 'in queue' or what that means. They just told me it has been received, and will be processed before February 23, 2017. I was like WTF? He was like that's the maximum time they have to process it, and most likely it should be done much sooner than that.

I am hoping it is the same case as yours, i.e., 'in queue'. Honestly this whole thing is driving me insane. I don't know why they don't give us the information that is available to the call centre agents. It would just make their life so much easier.

Has it ever happened to anyone that the passport is sent to CPC and then there is a rejection or further request for documents?
