Passports to CPC Ottawa - October 2016

Was approved and closed yesterday evening on mycic...I could not log onto mycic due to glitches in the morning...return tracker not activated till now...JPs also was approved yesterday..he sent it on Sep/30 and reached CPC-O on Oct/03

My timeline in signature, no update or emails since Ottawa received on 6th Oct

That's awesome. Maybe tonight it will happen for me and zezu. I called up CIC Help Centre, and the lady didn't know anything. She just asked me to wait. She also said that she didn't see any note that my passport was received, even though my Xpresspost tracker said that it was received on October 7th. She said that sometimes it's all done together - note, approval, and sending. Anyways, thanks for the information. It's close, and that's good to know.

thanks brother!! yours will come in soon...

from what I heard, they do everything in batches- collection of passports - after some accumulate, they send out for stamping in a batch, then they send out together in a batch as well...

my return tracker isn't activated yet... haven't heard yet from JP...

I got my passport request on 4th October. I sent my passport and photographs on 6th and they reached CIC the next day.

They still haven't dispatched my passport yet. I called them today and only information I could get is that "VISA has not yet been issued".

Usual processing time is much lesser. I am beginning to get concerned now Sad Sad

Anyone else in the same boat?

Everyone is more or less in the same situation man...relax...processing time is 14-20 days which includes weekdays and weekends...for it to reach and come back to you...

What the agent meant was- it hasn't been stamped yet buddy...don't worry...it will come soon...check your mycic for updates...just a matter of time now...
