Passports to CPC Ottawa - October 2016

Hi Lazybone,

It's nice to see you're active here despite your PP being approved and file being completed. I sent my PP on Monday and I haven't seen it has having been received by IRCC in my MYCIC account. Canadapost stated it was received and signed for on Wednesday.

Can you or any of the other members shed some light on this?

See your passport has reached ottawa but it wont show on mycic if they received it or not..when passport gets stamped thats when you get to see 'approved and closed' on mycic.. Then check for return tracker activation on canadapost

Anyway, it takes a few days buddy..relax...check mycic once everyday

My passport was delivered to Ottawa on Oct 20th. Just received an update to CIC, 'Approved and Closed'. Return tracker not activated yet.

Mine were delivered on 19th October. No updates yet to either MyCIC or Return Tracker.


Question to any CEC-Inland from a country who requires VISA (For example : India) :

1. I submitted our passports along with two photographs each. Do I still need to take two more photographs each for the landing?
2. I am assuming I need to take all the possible documents that I mentioned/uploaded in my profile.

Just bring passport and copr for the landing

application approved and closed online!!! passport recieved at ottawa last friday.... exactly 7 days.... return tracker not activated yet...

Congratulations to everyone! I'm so happy to see all of you succeed!

Just to jump on the bandwagon, Ottawa received my passport on the 27th (yesterday). I'm crossing my fingers to see my status change to "approved" next week!

The best of lucks to everyone else who is also waiting. Just think that your PR is no longer a matter of "if"....it is now a matter of "when"! Just a few more days!

From what I've seen here the Passports are typically returned 2 weeks from being received by Ottawa.

I was relieved to get our passports back...first, I went over the passports and saw if everything was okay...spellings of names, etc and expiry date (expiry date of medicals- the day by which you have to land)...then called my spouse, gave her the news and planned landing next day...yes I went to the border...

2-3 days...

suggestion: check on this thread who has approved and closed on a date similar to your cousin...because it happens in batches, your cousin should get return tracker activated around the same time as the person...

additionally- don't trust Canada post website coz it is invariably very inaccurate...
