Passports to CPC Ottawa- NOVEMBER 2017

Called CIC .. Agent told me that we have already dispatched your pp on DEC 18.. But tracking is not working.. Is it okay ? Or something to worried about ?

PPR - 14 Nov
PP SENT - 15 Nov
Delivered - 17 Nov

I called them yesterday and have been told it has been dispatched but the tracker is not active yet. I am worried too

Called cic agent and they said it’s in the printing room and I might get it before the year ends

I have one quick question and it will be helpful if anyone can share their experience or any suggestions regarding this issue

My family and I are living in the USA and the USA Visa is getting expired on jan 3rd( the stamping on the passport is till 3rd jan 2018 ) we are applied for extension but we don’t have the papers yet

If we get back our pp from Ottawa by this year end , we are planning to land in canada for a day and get the initial processing done by 30th dec 2017(5 days before our USA visa is valid in passport) Any idea if I’ll be able to get back to USA without any issue since I have just 5 days of visa left on my passport ? Has anybody have any suggestions ?? It will be helpful

On paper you're legally allowed to enter the US. But, if I were you, I wouldn't try to enter the US with just 5 days of visa remaining.

That’s the thing which we are worried about ..... else to get the USA visa stamped on the passport we have to go to India (home country) then do this ....not sure what to do ....

I would probably get my visa stamped and then enter USA. Dont risk it.

Congrats! May I ask what kind of proof of fund do you plan to take to the border? I'm really confused by some of the answers in the forum

@sapphire - Was your tracking show complete status because mine has been showing Item processed since 12/18 and havnt changed since. Let me know please.
