What does counterfoil means?? Mycic says now “approved” from updated.

I dont know as my case was handled by a consultant. Hence, I could not access my account.

Hi..I have a question here, how to track the status after the passport sent out?
coz my passport is already delivered, but no idea how to track for the rest of procedure.
how do we know they start? coz what I know right now is just delivered

"Return tracker activated"--we just use the prepaid envelope tracking number to track after we see "approved" right?

Yes you know it’s approved by checking CIC website and you’ll know it’s been sent by checking the tracking number. Rest of the progress you can only find out by emailing them or calling them (both of which are really hard!)

hi guys just a question for what size of return envelop you send?..is it the letter size or the smaller will be fine?..will there be a lot of documents they will put in or just the passport?..thanks!..

Update:

Got email from CIC that passport has been finalized and will be returned today. It was delivered on Nov 10.

could you give us the email to reach them about the passport return issue?
Also, is it still in progress in CIC account before it turns to "Approved". Thanks~

Guys,

We are planning to travel in the U.S. via driving and we have u.s visa, and still waiting for our passports.. question is do we have to land first or travel to u.s first and come back. Confuse here!

If you are planing to travel, you might wanna do that first and land when you come back. Since PR visa is only a single entry visa, if you used it for landing then when you leave Canada again, you won’t be able to get back in the country. Unless you applied for Permanent Resident Travel Document (PRTD) or wait until you receive you PR card.
