What time of day does return tracker usually get activated?

My application got approved on December 12. Hoping to get passport returned sometime this week.

So worried right now . Flight is scheduled on 27 nov and holidays are about to start and there is. No sign of passport approval and tracker

My PR got approved today, i am currently in USA
PPR Nov 17
Passport sent: Nov 20
Passport delivered: Nov 21
CIC approval date: Dec 18
Tracker: Waiting

I have a question though, the document expiry on ny cic account is jan 17, is this normal for CIC to provide such short duration for landing because i thoughg they would atleast give 3 months!!

Also i want to labd and then apply for PR cards and leave as i still have ajob in US and need time to wrap up, can someone point me in the direction where i can find all info for applying for PR cards and if there is any issue with leaving before getting the PR card?

Guys can i quit my job i send my passport and im open permit no restrictions

Better to wait until you got ur passport back. Me too planning to quit my job but until i have my passport on hand.
Once i received my PP i will resign right away!!

According to CIC this morning, everything has been finalized and all that's left is to send my passport out. I still see myCIC as "Processing", is this really normal?? They said potentially it will get sent out as soon as possible. I find this a bit worrying.

Can be the same day approved or one and half a week after, mine is also approved on Dec 12, still pending to activate the return tracker.

just called cic and the response was very confusing first she said that your passport is in the Que for printing then she said no we received your passport on Dec 7 and it takes 4 weeks to process so wait till JAN 7....
I am so confused and frustrated. they are so confused and don't know whats happening with my passport and at last she said that they sent my passport... i mean which line i shall believe.

I called them a few days back . She said that I'll have to wait until Jan 5th to get an update on the status of my COPR. But I got it approved today.

Me too, so frustrated and confused! Got different answers from different agents.

I might call them and ask about my passport tomorrow Monday. I feel that my passport is the most important for my staying in Canada and they should not have my passport with them for a month or longer.

Always wait and wait and wait for this PR processing. Just waiting when it is all over.

Who else did not get mail activate?

Almost the same timeline as yours too.

Tracker still yet to activate: ....

I called on the 14th Dec & the agent told me it’s shouldn’t be held more than a month which was due that day. He just said they should be getting back to me soon after he placed me on hold to call the department. I really just want my passport back....it’s taking way too long. Hopefully today or tomorrow, it should activate.

Shouldn't be a problem as my friend did it without any issue. No guarantee though.
