Just received my passport and CoPR !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

However, because I am travelling to Egypt in 16 days and coming back in January, I am not sure whether to go do the landing now or wait till I come back. The problem is that if I land now, I am worried that they might not let me back in because I won't be having my PR card by that time. The CoPR clearly says "Not Valid for Travel".

However, they didn't yet cancel my current work visa which is valid till 2017.

For those who did the landing before, do they cancel all what proves any of your current status in Canada?

They will cancel your work permit when you will come back to Canada.Like you I will active my Pr in January im travelling to Europe.

Passport received yesterday
Did my landing on coutts border today, it is near to my home as I live in lethbridge took only 45 minutes to reach there, landing was smooth on both sides It take 10 minutes on US side and 15 minutes on Canadian side....
Have a good luck everyone, you all will receive PR soon....

So ,I called CIC in the morning at 8 a clock to make an appointment for landing in Edmonton office ,3 hours later they call me back and they said i have appointment in 15 of DEC at 9 a clock.....so not even 2 weeks....that's great.....

Landed last night at rainbow bridge. The whole process took 15 mins. Off to a vacation now. This forum has been of great help. Good luck everyone!
