Passports to CPC Ottawa- June 2017

I am the primary applicant and I received my passport from Ottawa about 2 weeks after my spouse did. My status only changed about a week after my wife got her passport.

Thank you for the reply. My spouse who is my dependent did not receive his passport and it's been 28 days with no update! He sent his to Abudhabi
Wonder what should I do besides calling/emailing all with no response !

Have you sent your passport. My thinking is that they do not change either of your statuses until they have both your passports. Even if they’re sent to two different consulates.

Guys, I have received a passport submission request for COPR and stamping at Ottawa center but I have my travel planned to India from Canada in 20days, so can anyone please let me know the time processing center takes to process the CoPR

So you're traveling from Canada to India? Depends on your case. Mine took more than 45 days since my spouse and I had to submit separately.

Here is my time line

Application Submitted-Sept 26th
Passport request-October 30th
Passport sent-November 13th
Passport received by CIC- November 14th
Application Approved- December 8th.
Return tracking no. activation-Pending.

Tracking no. still not activated.... The fedex tracker still says "This tracking number cannot be found, please check the number or contact the sender."
Is there a no. we can call CIC from the US. I sent them an email and I got an automated response saying "We have your passport and we will be sending it shortly".

Approval date?

The date my application said approved in MyCIC. Honestly there's not much you can do but wait. Do you have an emergency and need it back?
