Congrats!! A long delay indeed. Your case was troubling. I used to watch your tracker daily and wish you had received yours passport back.

Hi all,

I have sent my passport to near visa office ( Sydney Australia) from New Zealand for COPR. In the passport dispatch instructions form , the courier said they will fill out the whole section of Receivers details. I am not sure that have they filled my address or their office address ( they recommended) on the form. However on the returning envelope , its my address and its traceable.

Does this gonna make any difference? Do i need to contact VO to correct in case the courier puts office address?

Thanks in advance

Landed on Jully 13. Finally PR! Thank you all for the support and help. Landed on Sarnia. Rented a car went to US border. We planned to enter US, the officer directed us to flag pole. That's OK I said, and after 5 minutes on US side (they will ask to leave everything on the Car, including Keys), we are back to Canada. It's a small facility on the Canadian side, not many people waiting (about 6 families), but it took about 2 hours to the officers start processing people (was frustrating I confess). Took us about 2:30 hours to be processed. Not the best, but still good, I guess. If you have the $$, land at an airport, much better treatment. The toll for the bridge is CAD$ 4 each way.

I'm flying to UK on September for a conference, and the Officer assured me for me I could use the CoPR to fly! No need to wait for PR card. I'm confused!

Good to know, we were planning to fly home to visit family in Buffalo and drive across the bridge. I think we'll fly into Toronto airport instead and save ourselves the trouble of dealing with the situation at the bridge which seems to be getting worse and worse. Thanks for the info.

After 3 week long wait, CPC Ottawa decided to dispatch my passport on Friday and the Tracker activated on Friday night. The wait is destroying my weekend. The Friday move was just cruel. Well played CPC :p
