Passports to CPC Ottawa- June 2017

Passport sent June 8, delivered june 12. Not even approved on CIC account yet. I call them almost everyday. Yesterday, she said, passport still waiting for printing. This is killing me now.

What phone number can we call them and what information do they need before they can share information on our case. Please let me know.

Hi Guys.. I sent my passport on Jun 16th from US and it is showing as delivered to office on Jun 19th. Only update I have received so far is it is sent to printing room on Jun 20th.. Waiting since then.. Like other people, I have also called them few times but sadly no updates yet..

Does anyone knows what exactly it means that it is sent to printing room and how much longer it takes after that..

Currently, it's taking them about two weeks to approve your application after they receive your passport. You'll have to wait for a bit.

Hi,

I received Passport request on May 30th.
Sent the passports to CPC Ottawa on June 01.

My passports (and other documents) were received by CPC ottawa on June 2nd 2017.
I have not received them back yet and even Return Envelope tracking # is not showing as activated.

My case was filed by an Attorney and I do not have any way to check the case status online.

Is this the time when I should contact CIC or CPC Ottawa? Which number to call? And what information they expect from the caller before sharing the case details.

Appreciate help.

Yesterday when I called, she told me it now takes about one month for cases to be approved after passports were received.

Sent to printing room means all is good. Right now they are on June 19th. So you should be getting approval on your cic account within next 1-2 business day. I know the waiting is killing but you've almost made it there just a day or two
