They emailed me because they didn't think my label had the information necessary to make back through the border. This was on Thurs. the 15th, I then sent a replacement label on Fri. the 16th, and they responded to that email by saying "your item will be shipped this afternoon" on the same day. I still haven't received anything.
Thanks, I'm pretty sure I've seen that as well. I used FedEx both ways, but for sure my return FedEx label is expired now, with no tracking activated.

Im CEC. I called CIC today and they told me my case is already complete and approved, but no update from my side. and I forgot to write down the track# for return envelope, damn it. I can just waiting..... Good luck!
I used Fedex both sides with 1 day overnight shipping and it worked out perfect. Passport delivered to Ottawa on 16th June and received passport back today, 28 June. All the best
Cool. They told me the same; case is approved nothing needs to done and also congratulated me. However, in my case it didn't mean stamping is done yet.
Does your cic account shows case approved? Mine is still under process it shows. I believe the status changes to approved once stamping is complete.
I forgot to note the return tracking number as well so yeah I do check my mail everyday too but when I called again today rep told my passport is still in printing room and everything looks good should be getting copr and passport back real soon.
No it still shows under process, maybe im in same case with yours. Anyway, sounds good to us. I m assuming they may return our passport by early next week. Cheers!
Hi guys - My passport was receive by CIC on 23rd June so naturally no updates yet.
The day I sent the passport, I realized I forgot to write application number on the back of photos. Though I did write my date of birth and name (plus photographer address and date). I emailed cpc-ottawa same day but no response yet. What should be the best thing to do at this moment.

I just got passports request, and will send it tommorow. I'm planning a vacation, would like to leave Canada August, 7th. What do you think, should I get my passports by that time? Can I send them passports via overnight FedEx or Canada XpressPost is mandatory both ways?
hmmm, maybe for visa exempt applicant only.
