They said they were too busy at that time. No other reason.

About the proof of address, I really don't know. I think you still have to provide the address where you will stay here.
Yup! I have that :) thank you and congrats on your successful landing. Hoping to share the same story.

Something that I forgot to mention is that they ask if this is the address where you will be for at least the next 6 weeks. They want to make sure they'll s end the PR card to the proper address. I don't know what happens if you don't know where you'll be living for this entire period.

When did you people usually notice (time of day) that your application status was changed to approved? It's been exactly one week today since my PP was delivered and it's still in progress. (I'm a CEC inland applicant already living in Canada)

Does anything on the portal indicates that the passport has been sent or you guys just kept an eye on the tracker to be activated?

My application was approved yesterday . Still waiting for the tracker to be activated.

guys, anyone whose passport was delivered on June 16 and waiting.. let me know, when your application is approved and passport is dispatched.
Yes, me. Delivered on 16th. No Update since.
My visa expires next Friday. I hope to do my landing before that.

Thank you for sharing :) I will try the Queenston Bridge as well.
No problem!
I'd suggest you arrive around 10pm the latest which would theoretically provide you sufficient time for landing (if you go through the Queenston Bridge which is less busy compared to the other 2 bridges). They only do landing Tues-Thur now so I don't know if it still counts as Thurs if it's past midnight tonight... just to play on the safe side :P

My visa expired too but I had my BOWP - if I understand it correctly as long as you have valid status in Canada (i.e. work permit, study permit, etc.) you're okay.

Guys, I did landing yesterday at the Point Robert (BC).
Everything was quick and took around 20 min max including flag pull.

Make sure if you have work permit, you bring it with you as they will void it. Apart of that everything was nice and easy.
Wish luck and quick passport return to everyone who is still waiting!

Welcome to Canada :)
