Passports to CPC Ottawa- June 2017

Our application was approved yesterday as well, but we didn't get any email or message in the account so far. Should we?

Hello all.

I sent my passport yesterday via FedEx and the passport will be delivered tomorrow by noon. UPS turned me down saying they can't generate rerun label for international shipping and FedEx guy created an airbill and attached it to the return envelope and I forgot to note down the tracking number for the return envelope although I selected overnight return.

So I'm on my own for predicting the return of my passport. Reading the above thread I concluded that passports are shipped only after only account status shows approved. Is that correct assumption? Also is there anyone who has sent passport(s) using FedEx?

Please suggest.

Yup! Tuats right, it will be 4-5 working days after which the status changed for some people and then 2 days after the passport was shipped!

I thought it was automatically generated by the system - Mine got approved around 230-ish on Friday and I got the email notification around the same time on Saturday...

Oh Okay, my online status changed on Thursday and I got the email on Friday, somewhere in the forums I read that the CPC officers manually change the status of the case... But I am not sure.. in general though I noticed that they were shipping out the passports around two days after the status change notification hope this helps.

Just curious ...Can you please tell me who signed for the envelope when it was delivered to CPC Ottawa? I sent it from US. ( FSW outland)

Lost my patience and called CIC just now, they verified all my contact information (phone numbers, address) and then gave a standard response like below:
"We have received your passport(s), and it is sent to printing room for VISA stamping. Usually, it take few weeks and I cannot tell you any timelines".

PP Sent: 06-Jun
PP Delivered: 07-Jun
No ***** Update....

Can you please give me the phone number where you called?

yea the online status has to be manually updated but I was referring to the notification email.
I see... so looks like I probably need to wait until EOD tomorrow to see tracker activated.

Timeline:
PPR: June 5th
Passport sent: June 7th
Passport delivered: June 9th
Application approved: June 14th
Back folder activated: June 15th

Estimated delivery time: June 17th

around what time did the back tracking label get activated? late in the evening or early morning? EST?

PP reached CPC-OTTAWA on June 9th, 2017. Haven't received it back yet. How long it takes?

There are a few whose PP reached Ottawa on 9th and have not heard any thing back yet, I don't have the number, but try asking on the forum for the CIC number they called at.
