Passports to CPC Ottawa January 2018

i emailed after 9 days. they confirmed on email that they have recvd passport. then i called they said (on 12th) day that the info was entered into system just 2 days ago. hope that helps. i am not sure what their process is. this is just a data point.

and yes no update in cic till date

Hi Guys
I got my passport request on 23rd Dec and sent it on the very next day.
Passport got received at the office on Jan 2, 2018
But still got no updates on my CIC account
Its still in processing...
I’ve gone through all the texts on here and the applicants whose passports got received on the same day as of me; have got their application status changed from Processing to Approved.
Is this normal? I am worrying about it now. Any suggestions or advice highly appreciated!

Don't worry
If your passport was delivered on Jan 2, then you should hear back from them by Monday
If not, give them a call on Monday to confirm
Did you confirm that your passport was delivered to CPC Ottawa? Do you have tracking #

Yeah!!! I have tracking number and it was Signed by someone when it got delivered on Jan the 2nd

Question, when you get your passport back from CIC, do you also get your PR card? Thanks

No, your PR card will be sent to you separately by mail after landing. It takes about 2 months to receive it. The issue is that we can't travel abroad without it because all our visas/permits get canceled after landing.

It will say in progress until visa has been stamped & co-pr has been printed. Then, it will change to Approved.
